Series 4 of my podcast out now!

With so many podcasts out there today, it can be hard to find the ones that walk the line between entertaining, educational, and insightful. This is something that the Leadership Bookclub seems to do exceptionally well.

It is not often that educational leaders from diverse experiences are given the chance to share those experiences with the world. PiXL CEO Rachel Johnson sits with different school leaders and discusses how non-educational leadership books can be applied to real-life school examples. Listening to them as they delve into a discussion of insightful and thought-provoking literature makes for a wonderful companion on commutes in the morning, or even to wind down after a long day.

Every guest on the podcast comes with a wealth of knowledge and expertise on the educational industry, and hearing how they apply the takeaways from the books on the list really helps to conceptualise the ways in which we never stop learning. They share anecdotes of how they have come to become successful leaders, and the challenges they faced along their respective journeys to leadership.  With each episode bringing together educational leaders and their insight, an inquisitive interviewer who asks the right questions, and books geared towards leadership at large, the Leadership Bookclub Podcast is a gem of a listen.

This podcast has steadily become a handy guide on identifying what is keeping us all from being able to lead more confidently, whether within our personal lives or the schooling environment.

With topics covering people pleasing, being able to be confidently humble, and addressing cultural aspects of schools, there is something for everyone, at any level of leadership and in all different spaces.
