Hello I’m…
Rachel Johnson
There are a number of ways we label people. Perhaps my interesting professional labels would be CEO, author, podcaster, leadership thinker, keynote speaker and coach. In my personal life I am a wife and a mother to our 3 children: those two labels are so important to me.
BUT…those are not the labels I see when I look in the mirror.
That’s because even though I love doing and being all of those things, it doesn’t actually define me. What defines me is what I believe, what I value, how I want to be in this world and what I stand for, and what I stand against. For me, reputation is important, of course it is, but it will never be as important as character.

Character is the real work that underpins everything. Being able to weather life’s storms whether they are inside of us, or outside of us, is the job of character. Whether the challenges are at work or at home, or both, there are things we can do to navigate ourselves through the challenges.
I want real conversation about real issues. The issues we don’t often talk about.
That’s why my work focuses on the human issues behind the big problems. I don’t think you can talk about challenging conversations, without talking about shame responses. You can’t talk about wellbeing at work without talking about belonging, connection and joy. You can’t talk about boundaries unless you talk about people pleasing tendencies. What appears as one issue, may be a different issue entirely.
If this is of interest to you, then you’ve found a place that will help you explore it all.
I’m glad you’re here.
Rachel
